Popeye - in collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana

Classic character Popeye is to appear on a range of high-end apparel following a deal with fashion house, Dolce & Gabbana. King Features made a deal with fashion designers Dolce & Gabbana for a Popeye apparel collection for Spring/Summer 2012 under the D&G brand. T-shirts, sweatshirt and tank tops for adults and kids were made available in boutiques and high-end department stores worldwide from March 2012.

D&G joins a healthy list of fashion licensees and retailers which have worked with King Features’ Popeye brand. These include Benetton, Bloomingdale’s, Gap, H&M, Lucien Pellat-Finet, Miss Sixty and Zara.
