Paddington Bear has been beloved by children and parents for almost 60 years, thanks to Michael Bond’s timeless series of books and their famous television adaptation, the stop-motion animation voiced by Sir Michael Hordern. Now he is making the leap to the big screen, ably assisted by director Paul King (The Mighty Boosh) and a cast including Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent and Peter Capaldi.

The young Peruvian bear travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he meets the kindly Brown family, who offer him a temporary haven.

The movie was a stunning success, garnering great reviews and making almost half a billion dollars at the Box Office. A sequel is premiering in fall 2017.
