Moomin - Pop-up shop at NK in Gothenburg, Sweden

The 10th of February NK opened its doors to a unique pop-up shop with Moomin products. This coincided with the opening of the exhibition of visual arts of Moomin creator Tove Jansson at Gothenburg Art Museum.

Moomin started appearing on the products already in the 50s, when the artist co-designed motifs. Over the years, Moomin has grown into a Scandinavian design brand and is today an integral part of the trendy and modern home.

The shop, which is open until August, you will find a wide selection of products with Moomin in line with NK’s high standards of quality and design.

On the shelves you’ll find the Moomin mugs from by Arabia, a success since the 90s and popular collectibles.

There is a wide selection of high-quality bedding and towels from Finlayson and lovely, warm blankets in wool from Klippan.

The shop also provides many other design products such as retro mugs in enamel, Swedish-made wooden trays, exclusive note books from Bookbinders, unique products from Japan and much more.

When you get tired of shopping you can treat yourself with a coffee and rest your legs in one of the seats in the café. There is a play area where kids can let themselves step into a small part of Moomin Valley.
