Moomin - Moomins at Junibacken

The Moomins at Junibacken- exhibition was opened in February 12 2015. The Moomin exhibition at Junibacken was one the event celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Moomins in 2015.

In the Moomin exhibition you can walk around the Moominvalley and meet many of its inhabitants created by Tove Jansson. Jansson wrote her first book about the Moomin family in 1945 ced “The Moomins and the Great Flood”. You can also watch the puppet theatre production “Hur gick det sen?” (based on the book “The book about Moomin, Mymble and Little My”) which will be performed daily. In 2015 245 000 people visited the exhibition and Junibacken’s general sales increased with 5 %.

Junibacken is a children’s museum, situated on the island of Djurgården in the centre of Stockholm, Sweden.

The exhibition was open throughout 2015 and for most of 2016.
